Allows counties to apply for grants to train paramedics to administer buprenorphine, e.g., after OD, with a workgroup to study bup access, due at year’s end.
Bup-after-OD by paramedics is an exciting development, only being done in Frederick County, MD, and a few other locations nationally, at the time this bill was introduced.
